Badminton

  • Ensure that only players are on the court  
  • Ensure that you have the right racket and it is in good condition 
  • Ensure that you have the correct shuttle cock 
  • Ensure that water bottles have lids to prevent spillages 

Table Tennis  

  • Trainers to be worn 
  • Ensure that the court is clear of personal belongings and any spillages 
  • Ensure that the only players are on the court
  • Ensure that you have the right equipment and it is in good condition 
  • Ensure that water bottles have lids to prevent spillages 
  • Do not lean on the table and report any faults to the receptionist 

 Tennis  

  • Trainers to be worn 
  • Ensure that the court is clear of personal belongings  
  • Ensure that the only users on the court are those that are playing 
  • Ensure that you have the correct racket and it is in good condition 
  • Ensure that you have the correct ball 
  • Ensure that water bottles have lids to prevent spillages 

 Climbing  

  • Adults must be 18 years to register for climbing  
  • All adults must complete a registration form and agree to the terms and conditions  
  • An adult can bring two children as guests – but guests must be signed in 
  • Ensure correct shoes are worn, either climbing shoes or good fitting trainers  
  • Harnesses can be hired, but if you have your own, please ensure it is in good condition 
  • Hair to be tried back 
  • Long trousers to be worn  
  • No food to be consumed  
  • Jewellery must be removed 

 Astro  

  • Correct shoes must always be worn on the Astro – Astro Turf Football boots 
  • No food to be taken on the Astro  
  • Spectators to stand outside of the fencing  
  • Curtains to be pulled across each pitch 
  • If moving the goals, please ensure that you ask for assistance for a member of the staff 

Swimming  

  • A swimming adult must accompany children under eight years old at all times 
  • Children 8 – 10 years old must arrive and leave the centre with their parents or guardian. One adult is responsible for up to two children aged under five years or three children aged 5-8 years  
  • We strongly recommend all non-swimmers wear buoyancy aids
  • Wear only appropriate, recognised swimwear 
  • Children aged eight years plus must change in the correct changing room for their sex 
  • No food to be consumed in the swimming pool hall 
  • Babies and young children should wear only appropriate elasticated swimwear. 
  • Shower thoroughly and toilet before entering the pool 
  • Follow all instructions given by staff and displayed on notices, safety signs etc 
  • Behave responsibly and courteously to all staff and other customers
  • Pay due respect to the safety and enjoyment of all customers

Do not swim if: 

  • You feel unwell  
  • You are suffering or have recently suffered from diarrhoea or a gastrointestinal infection.  
  • You have a medical problem (without first consulting your doctor).  
  • You have recently consumed alcohol or a main meal. 

Workout Classes 

  • Ensure you are on time for your class; instructor lead classes will not allow you to join in if the warmup has finished 
  • Have a drink to hand  
  • Bring your exercise mat 
  • Ensure that you correctly use the equipment. 
  • Children under 11 years of age cannot take part  
  • Children are not permitted to watch  
  • If you have any medical problems, please inform the instructor and get doctors’ advice before taking part in any exercise.  
  • Wear appropriate clothing for the workout you are taking part in
