An excellent climbing wall with a great range of routes - try it, you'll love it! The Auto-belays make it feel very safe to climb and push your limits, and it's a wonderful way to do a whole body workout. Staff are so helpful, attentive and encouraging to new users.

Great place for crazy golf... and the "wheel of fate" you spin at every hole was a great way to play. 7/10 for entertainment and 9/10 for price.

Dragonfly Leisure Centre gym in Midsomer Norton is an excellent facility with a welcoming atmosphere. The equipment is modern, well-maintained, and suitable for all fitness levels. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. The gym is clean, spacious, and never feels overcrowded, making every workout enjoyable and motivating.

Adventure golf was amazing. The detail gone into creating this with reference to our mining heritage is fantastic.The detail of sounds, sculptures and buildings make it a educational experienceas as well. . Loved reading the info signs, spinning the dials to see what you land on . So good to have something local at a fair price.

Used the swimming pool for the first time with 2 children (11 & 6). Booked online via the app. It's really quick and easy to use. Pool was lovely, clean changing rooms, lovely staff members, and we went when they had the toys and floats out, which was a bonus. Kids had a fab time. Will definitely go again.

We recently had a Duel Party at Writhlington Leisure Centre and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! Everything was really well organised – the staff clearly knew exactly what they were doing and had the whole event running smoothly.What really stood out was how much pressure it took off us as parents. The team handled all the little details, meaning we could actually relax and enjoy the party too! The staff were friendly, helpful, and completely on top of everything, making it a stress-free and fun experience for everyone.The children had a fantastic time and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, hassle-free party option. Huge thanks to the team at Writhlington – you were fab!

I Recently joined Midsomer Norton gym under the professional guidance of Lotty. She has been an amazing support in providing a tailored programme with 3 weekly face to face meetings to ensure I stay on track and making adjustments where needed. I cant express enough what an amazing support she's been.

I recently started using the gym under a GP referral scheme to get myself as fit as possible before a knee replacement op. I’ve been using the gym and doing some of the classes, mainly trx and body pump. The instructors are amazing. I feel that they keepA watchful eye on me and help modify the exercises to work around my knee issues. Lotte in particular is extremely encouraging and her enthusiasm very motivating. I’m really enjoying using the gym that I’ve now become a member. I’ve also found that the other gym member are very friendly and encouraging, I’ve been members at other gyms in the past where no one talks to you, that’s certainly not the case here.

My daughter has been attending gymnastics here for the last couple of months and the coaches are fantastic. They are so enthusiastic and support all abilities of children, not just those who will be competing in competitions. We had previously attended another club and it's refreshing to see coaches here that are passionate about supporting children and having fun! I would highly recommend

The gym in dragonfly leisure at Writhlington is staffed by a friendly team, who are always eager to lend a hand or just to encourage. The equipment is very well maintained and kept very clean. There is a good array of equipment, and all are demonstrated by the staff before letting you lose on your own. A body scan was taken, and an exercise program designed for my issues, I have been going for 6 months and can see a definite improvement in my body and my mental state. I can't recommend more highly.Update.Dragonfly Leisure has increased the size of the gym. The new areas are fantastic they have added numerous machines, and the extra space means that even when really busy, you still have room to exercise without being under each other's feet.Dragonfly Leisure has done a cracking job. The gym is top-notch it's a pleasure to go there. Well done, and thank you.

I have had the pleasure of using both writhlington and Norton for years before I became a member my son enjoy many of his own friends birthday parties at writhlington/go bananas one he grew out go bananas her enjoyed the laser tag and ninja assault course which amazing weather you are a child or and adult.I became a member just over 3yrs ago just after Covid and my son going back to full time education. And I just say it has help my fitness journey so much. I struggle with my anxiety and other physical restrictions. The staff have made me feel nothing welcome comfortable and help me to get the most out of the facilities without triggering any of my physical restrictions.and when I am struggling helping find something else.My son also has swimming lessons here and when he started 2 and half years ago he couldn’t swim now is half way through his stage 4.So in short would definitely recommend both place 100%

I was really nervous to join the gym and swimming but as soon as I joined the staff are amazing really helpful and friendly. If they can't help they will find someone who can. They are incredible with my son who has additional needs he does swimming lessons xx

Amazing friendly staff, always happy to help in all areas, very approachable. Swimming instructors do a fantastic job, would highly recommend swimming lessons my 3 year old and 5 year old can't wait every week. The coffee is a great bonus while they swim.

Absolutely love the On Demand classes and all the virtual classes, plenty of choice to suit all abilities and those with busy schedules, from half hour classes to an hour. On demand allows you to choose your class when you arrive depending on what area you would like to focus on. A great atmosphere to workout in small classes or even alone. We are so lucky to have these facilities on our doorstep.

Best place around to go. Always met with happy, helpful and friendly staff.The gym is fab , the equipment is always clean and in good condition.The swimming pool with the steam room is a great place to relax .All the fitness classes are great . But I have to say TRX with lotte is by far my favourite. Lotte is warm, kind and bubbly . You can clearly see she wants to improve your health and fitness but she also invests in you as a person . She will Always check in at every class to see how you are . She makes the classes fun and you leave TRX feeling shattered ( in a good way) and feeling good about yourself .

I have been attending trx classes at msn for quite some time.Lotte welcomes all levels and ages which makes the room buzz.I have made lots of friends and enjoyed feeling part of something that makes us feel good.The gym is great, I use it regularly..... lots of support on hand available if you want it, if you don't, you aren't hassled.Great place to go to feel better! Thanks Dragonfly... highly recommended.

Great place to learn to swim, my daughter started when she was 4 and loved it. Although being in group sessions she lacked concentration but dragonfly leisure understood this and were able to accommodate us with having 1-2-1 lessons very promptly. She has now passed stage 3 and continuing swimming with the school in top set thanks to having 1-2-1 lessons.

I have been using the facilities since 1986 and they have got better with every change. I swim and do 5 classes a week. All the instructors are lively and ensure you do the exercises correctly. Well done

I visit here weekly with work. The staff are very friendly and understanding. I’ve only swam. I haven’t used any other facilities. Good steam room. Clean changing rooms and pool. Food and drinks are quite steep but at least the option is there.

It's a good gym, quite large and well organised. It has everything except a punching bag. Everything is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Whenever I want to use a punching bag I go to their other site in Writhligton.

My son went to his ever holiday club today and we were both really anxious, I had my doubts he'd stay...but immediately upon arrival harry greeted us and was amazing with my son, he really welcomed him and knew exactly how to reassure us both he was so lovely.My son absolutely loved his day and will definitely be returning next year 👍🏼

Been a member here and Norton for years. Really good value for money, friendly staff. Kids also do lots of clubs. Pity they shut the soft play though

We very recently had a Ninjair party for our son here, and I can’t say enough good things about the facilities and staff. The place is extremely clean, and run very efficiently. Even with a timing mix up that was completely my fault, the staff at dragonfly leisure centre went above and beyond to make sure my son and his friends had an amazing time and didn’t miss out on anything. Having a dedicated party room and party host makes everything much easier on the parents as well! I will definitely be back and will certainly recommend DLC to other parents looking to host birthday parties!

My little one enjoyed the under 3s softplay. It's a shame older kids kept coming in and playing and this is not monitored at all. The food and drink took quite awhile to come and came in 3 stages but they did start with the little ones food first.

This place is absolutely brilliant for toddlers.Unsettingly, it's closing down to make way for a Gym expansion. They say it's because it's not busy, but it's not that, it's always busy. They could put their prices up slightly but obviously there's more money in Gyms them toddlers.This is a travesty!
