We’re Going Cashless – Here’s Why

From 1st October 2025, we will be moving to a cashless payment system across all our facilities.

This decision has not been made lightly, and we want to be transparent with our customers about the reasons behind this change.

Why Are We Going Cashless?

The main reason is beyond our control — the imminent closure of the local NatWest bank branch, which will take place in October 2025. With no nearby alternative and limited access to cash handling services, it has become increasingly difficult, time-consuming, and costly for us to manage cash securely.

We’ve explored all options, but without local banking infrastructure, continuing to accept and process cash payments is no longer sustainable.

What This Means for You

From 1st October onwards, we will only be accepting:

  • Debit and credit card payments
  • Contactless payments
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay
  • Online payments and direct debits (where applicable)

We understand that this may be a change for some, and we’re here to help. Our team will be happy to guide you through the available options and answer any questions you may have.

A Smoother Experience

Going cashless also means:

  • Faster transactions
  • Improved security for customers and staff
  • More streamlined operations, so we can focus more on delivering great service

We appreciate your support and understanding as we adapt to these external changes. This isn’t a move we would have chosen, but it’s a necessary step to ensure we continue operating efficiently and safely.

Thank you for your continued loyalty.
