The following operating procedures are based on current government guidance at the time of publishing (June 2020).
Advance bookings only via our app (search DragonflyLeisure in the app store or google play) or online platform. Bookings available 7 days in advance. Please note you will not be able to attend without a booking.
Outdoor Tennis (from Monday 6th July)
Singles and doubles play are permitted as long as you remain 2 meters apart or where a family residing at the same household are playing.
Entry and exit to the outdoor tennis courts will be via the double gates at the far end of the main car park.
Indoor Tennis (from Saturday 25th July)
Indoor Badminton (from Saturday 25th July)
Singles permitted between different households.
Doubles only permitted with others in the same household.
Badminton England recommend you do not change ends.
Avoid touching the net and posts.
Unless players are from the same household, players must not play at the net.
Sanitise your hands before, after and during play particularly after touching the shuttlecock.
Entry for badminton will be via the main sports centre entrance.
Entry for indoor tennis will be via the main tennis centre entrance door. Players will need to exit via the roller shutter door on the opposite side of the courts.
Access and egress to and from courts will be via a one-way system.
Hand sanitiser will be available when entering reception and the indoor tennis centre. We advise customers to bring hand sanitiser if using the outside tennis courts.
Bring your own racket as hire will not be available. We will however have tennis balls and shuttlecocks for sale if required. Contactless payments only.
We advise you bring your own clearly marked tennis balls / shuttlecocks however, if you choose to share, extra care should be taken not to touch your face during play or at least not until you have sanitised your hands.
Avoid picking up tennis balls or shuttlecocks from other courts, use your foot or racket instead.
Bring a full water bottle as there will not be a facility for you to replenish it on site.
Ensure you take all your belongings with you at the end of the session and do not leave anything on court.
Please ensure you maintain 2m social distancing when entering and leaving the courts.
Do not touch the net or posts.
Please arrive changed as changing rooms will not be available. Toilet facilities will be available however access may be limited so please use the toilet before leaving home.
Avoid congregating on or around the courts after play to allow safe access for others.
Where attendance of a parent/guardian (non-participant) is required, or a carer for a disabled player, this should be off court and limited to one per player where possible, with social distancing strictly observed while watching the sessions.
Benches/seating will be removed.
