General Guidance

Click here for details regarding entry, cleaning regimes, changing rooms and toilet facilities.

Please arrive changed as changing rooms will not be available. Toilet facilities will be available however access may be limited so please use the toilet before leaving home.

Hand sanitiser will be available when entering reception for badminton and the indoor tennis centre. We advise customers to bring their own hand sanitiser to sanitise during play and particularly after touching equipment.

Avoid touching the net and posts. If you do touch them, please sanitise your hands immediately.

Sanitise your hands before, after and during play particularly after touching the other equipment including balls/shuttlecocks.

Do not share equipment.

Where possible players should bring their own rackets. Rackets should not be shared. Rackets can still be hired from reception; these will be sanitised before and after use.

Players must avoid using their hands to pick up shuttles or balls from other courts; where possible – use your own racket or foot to return them.

Bring a full water bottle as there will not be a facility for you to replenish it on site.

Benches/seating will be removed.

Where attendance of a parent/guardian (non-participant) is required, or a carer for a disabled player, this should be off court and limited to one per player where possible, with social distancing strictly observed while watching the sessions.

Avoid congregating on or around the courts after play to allow safe access for others.

Badminton Specific Guidance

Singles are permitted between different households.

Doubles are only permitted with others in the same household.

Badminton England recommends that you do not change ends.

Unless players are from the same household, players must not play at the net.

Wherever possible, the whole court area (including the side/back tramlines) can be used. However, if social distancing between players on adjacent courts cannot be maintained, play should only take place within the singles court markings.

Tennis Specific Guidance
