We are humbled by the generosity of those who have offered their support during this forced closure, thank you. Click here to donate.
As a not-for-profit charitable Trust our very limited cash reserves have been exhausted! We have had to borrow more money to help us through this particularly challenging time. Any donation therefore, however small, is gratefully received as this will help secure our on-going future.
Please do not cancel your direct debit at the bank if you want to remain a member or retain a place on our lesson programme (gymnastics, trampolining, swimming, football, climbing, dance or tennis). Direct debits cancelled at the bank will be treated as genuine cancellations. In this instance, any membership loyalty subscription or place on our lesson programme will be forfeited.
What happens with my January membership / subscription payment?
Your subscription will be frozen for February and March. Your April payment will be fully credited with the remaining balance (to cover 1st – 11th April closure) being applied to your May payment. Your June payment will be collected as normal.
Please note a 5% increase will be applied to all our sports lesson direct debits from 1st April in line with increasing operational costs.
Can I get a refund for my January subscription?
Yes of course, however we would be grateful if you opt to have your March subscription credited as this will save a huge amount of work and cost our end. Please email us at email@example.com if you require a refund for your January subscription. We will do our best to process refunds as quickly as possible. A pro-rata direct debit payment will restart on 1st April for customers receiving a refund for their January subscription.
Your membership will be extended by 3 months.
Can I continue to pay my subscription?
We are so grateful to those of you that have offered to continue to pay your subscription during lockdown however it’s easier for us, from an administrative perspective, to suspend all payments during this period. We do have a Just Giving page for those who would like to support us, link below. Your generosity is very much appreciated, thank you.
How can I stay active during lockdown?
It’s so important we all stay active as we know this is the best way to build a strong immune system. The following mediums can help you achieve just that, here’s how;
Instructor Led Virtual Classes – we have a number of virtual classes, delivered by our own instructors, available via our Halo fitness app (this is different to our booking app). Click on the person icon (top left) and select ‘on demand’. The following categories are available – Dance, HIIT, Strength and Wellness (yoga/pilates). We will be adding more classes over the coming weeks to help keep you motivated and engaged.
Home Workouts – in addition to the above we also have a number of home workouts available via our Halo app too – click on the + icon, then ‘Add Workout’, select ‘View Template Workouts’ and then type in ‘Home’ in the search box and click search.
If you’re not registered on Halo please contact Lotte at firstname.lastname@example.org who will be happy to assist you with registering an account – there is no charge or ongoing subscription for existing members.
Les Mills On Demand – through our partnership with Les Mills you can access a 60-day free trial of their ‘On Demand’ service. In addition, we’ve negotiated a member exclusive discount beyond the free trial period for those who would like to supplement their facility-based training with online workouts at just £7.94 per month – normally £11.95 per month. You can use a different email address if you previously subscribed to this service and your subscription has since expired.
Please note you will be asked for your credit card details to activate your free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the end of your free trial period.
The exclusive member link is http://link.lesmillsondemand.com/SH18B
To protect our colleagues, we will not be staffing our facilities during this period, as a result it may take longer for us to reply to emails or facebook messages.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, both personally and on behalf of all my colleagues, for your patience and support during this incredibly challenging time.
